Driver, by escaping from the scene of the accident, you expose yourself to civil and criminal liability!

Driver, fleeing the scene of the accident, you expose yourself to civil and criminal liability, such as in the case of driving under the influence of alcohol!

It's not worth running away from the scene of a traffic accident. According to Art. 43 sec. 4 of the Act on Compulsory Insurance, the driver who fled the scene of the accident is obliged to return the compensation paid to the injured party by the Insurance Company from the third party liability policy of motor vehicle owners.

Moreover, the person who fled the scene does so intentionally in order to avoid responsibility. Therefore, the legislator in Art. 178 § 1 of the Penal Code provided for stricter criminal liability for such a perpetrator and equated it with the responsibility of the perpetrator who caused the event while intoxicated.

Attached is a video showing the driver's careless behavior on the road and then fleeing the scene.
