"Polish road transport safety and quality in terms of new legal regulations" - Wrocław, April 21, 2018

On April 21, 2018, the Board of the Lower Silesian Region, under the direction of its Chairman Włodzimierz Balcerek and with the participation of the Main Board of the OZPTD, organized a conference in Wrocław devoted to safety issues in road transport. The meeting was attended by representatives of Galicja Brokers. Ryszard Bednarski gave a lecture on the current insurance situation on the market, loss prevention and foreign claims handling.

For the first time, the participants of the meeting, in addition to carriers, were invited students of a trade school training in the profession of a driver-mechanic.

The deliberations began after the banner of the Organization was brought into the hall by the banner party.

The speakers were invited guests representing the Motor Transport Institute, the ITD Provincial Inspectorate, the Police and the National Labor Inspectorate.

In addition to issues related to broadly understood road safety, matters related to the employment of drivers and the situation resulting from the work of the European Commission on the mobility package and the work of the Tripartite Commission on the national wage system were also discussed. The union is against the proposed changes based on an unspecified average wage subject to tax charges
and insurance (ZUS) and liquidation of allowances.

The issue of limiting the import of fuel from non-EU countries in the amount of over 200 liters was also discussed, obtaining full support from the Conference participants for the proposal introduced by the Ministry of Finance.

A nice touch was the presentation of departmental decorations by the Director of the Political Cabinet of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Mr. Łukasz Smółka.

Colleagues were honored with the "Meritorious for Transport of the Republic of Poland" awards:
