On behalf of Galicja Brokers, I am pleased to inform you that the District Court in Lublin, 9th Commercial Division, dismissed the appeal of the insurer in the case concerning the refusal to pay compensation for a damaged truck during unloading of goods. Thus, the judgment of the court of first instance awarding over PLN 60,000 from the insurer was upheld, and the position of my client (owner of the transport company) was fully confirmed in the assessment of the court of second instance. This is an important decision that ends the dispute with the insurance company and confirms the validity of the claim, which resulted from the third-party liability insurance policy of the business activity of the company carrying out the unloading of goods.
