On September 13-14, 2019, a conference was held at the Litwiński Hotel in Tęgobórz. "Polish road transport in the changing European Union".
The meeting was attended by over 400 representatives of: transport companies, truck manufacturers, Road Transport Inspection, local government, parliament, government, including Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin and Galicja Brokers as a partner of the conference.
Discussion panels concerned, among others:
- Road transport control (regulations and procedures) in the EU,
- New technologies in road transport,
- Changes in the EU regulations on the principles of road transport, employment and the principles of performing work in other EU countries,
- Alternative drives of motor vehicles, autonomous vehicles and road trains using truck platooning,
- Discussion on the future of Polish road transport.
At the end, state and industry decorations were awarded and the Representative Orchestra of the Border Guard performed.
