Recently, we have been dealing with a lot of damage to trucks resulting from collisions with other vehicles on the Paris ring road or in the greater Paris area. Traffic rules in this region are different from those in the rest of France and Europe. Well, vehicles entering from the right have priority over vehicles already on this section. This applies to the Paris ring road, but also to traditional roundabouts and intersections (without traffic lights) in the Paris region, where vehicles entering from the right (from a so-called minor road) have priority.

Truck drivers from Poland are often very surprised that after a collision with a vehicle entering from the right, they receive a fine instead of the other road user.
